At Pritam Nayak Couture, every creation is thoughtfully designed and meticulously handcrafted. Due to the bespoke and made-to-order nature of our products, we follow a carefully defined Returns & Exchanges Policy to ensure transparency, fairness, and quality assurance.
We request that all customers read this policy thoroughly before placing an order.
1. Nature of Products
Most products sold by Pritam Nayak Couture fall under the following categories:
- Made-to-order garments
- Customized couture pieces
- Bridal wear
- Hand-embroidered or handcrafted products
- Digital fashion products
As such, these items are created exclusively for the customer and are not resalable.
2. No-Return Policy
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:
- Customized or made-to-order garments
- Bridal wear
- Couture pieces
- Accessories made on order
- Digital fashion products
This policy is in line with standard practices followed by couture and bespoke fashion houses.
3. Exchange Eligibility (Limited Cases Only)
Exchanges are considered only under exceptional circumstances, specifically if:
- The product received is damaged during transit
- The product received is defective due to manufacturing fault
- The product received is incorrect (different from the confirmed order)
Issues related to fit, personal preference, color variation, or design expectation are not considered valid reasons for exchange, as all garments are handcrafted and customized.
4. Exchange Request Timeline
- Exchange requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
- Requests made after this period will not be accepted under any circumstances
5. Exchange Request Process
To initiate an exchange request, customers must:
- Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the product
- Share clear photos and/or videos showing the damage, defect, or issue
- Provide the order number and description of the concern
All requests are subject to internal review and approval.
6. Exchange Approval & Resolution
- If the exchange request is approved, we may offer:
- A repair
- A replacement of the same product
- A store credit (at our discretion)
- A repair
- The resolution will depend on:
- Product category
- Nature of the issue
- Availability of materials and artisans
- Product category
Pritam Nayak Couture reserves the right to decide the most appropriate resolution.
7. Conditions Where Exchanges Will Not Be Accepted
Exchanges will not be accepted if:
- The product shows signs of wear, usage, washing, or alteration
- The issue is reported after 48 hours
- The product has been damaged due to improper handling by the customer
- The issue relates to size, fitting, or subjective expectations
8. Color, Texture & Craft Disclaimer
Please note:
- Slight variations in color, embroidery, texture, or finish are natural due to:
- Handcrafted processes
- Fabric dye variations
- Lighting differences in photography
- Handcrafted processes
Such variations do not qualify as defects or grounds for exchange.
9. Shipping Costs for Exchanges
- If the exchange is approved due to a fault from our side, we will manage the return logistics.
- If additional shipping is required due to customer-related reasons, the cost may be borne by the customer.
10. International Orders
- All international orders are final and non-returnable
- Exchanges for international orders are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
- Customs duties, shipping, and handling charges (if any) are non-refundable

Pritam Nayak Couture reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Updates will be effective immediately upon publication on the website.
